Gnocchi with parmesan cream, spinach and pancetta
Gnocchi in a parmesan sauce with spinach and pancetta is one of the most versatile Italian dishes. It is simple to prepare and delicious to serve to your lovely guests.

- Gnocchi pack- 500g
- Sliced garlic clove- only one
- Olive oil- 1 tsp
- Double cream- 100ml
- Nutmeg- freshly grated
- Smoke pancetta cubes- 130g
- Spinach- 100g
- Lemon zest- 1/2
- Grated parmesan along with extra for serving- 200g
- Toasted pine nut- 25g
Follow the instructions on the pack and cook the gnocchi. Drain out the excess.
Take a small pan and heat 1tsp of oil. Pour garlic and let it fry. Pour a nice grating of nutmeg and then keep it aside.
Take two tsp of the oil and heat it. Cook the pancetta in it until it turns crisp. Pour the gnocchi into this and stir-fry it until it turns golden. If it starts sticking then add a few drops of oil to it.
To this, mix the lemon zest, spinach and seasoning and stir it well.
In the cream sauce add the parmesan and stir it nicely.
Take plates and spoon the gnocchi into it and trickle it over the sauce and sprinkle with pine nuts.
While serving, add extra parmesan.
