Noisette Potatoes

  • Large potatoes  – 16 pcs washed and peeled
  • Butter Knob
  • Cooking oil


The oven needs to be preheated to 200C/fan oven 180C/Gas 6. The potatoes need to be scooped into balls and rinse them well after cutting it. Dry the potatoes on a clean tea towel.

Take a large frying pan and heat 2tbps of cooking oil. Use it to pan fry two or three potatoes. Keep the heat on medium to high till it turns golden brown in colour. Take them out on a roasting tray. Repeat the same process till all of the potates are coloured in golden brown. Tender the potatoes by keeping them in the oven for around 15-20 mins.

Remove the tray from the oven once the potatoes are cooked. Next add the butter and season with pepper and salt. You can now serve your Noisette potatoes.
